My teacher, Mr. Solarz, was fortunate enough to travel to Dubai last week for an education conference and to meet former Top 50 Global Teacher Prize candidates for the Varkey GEMS Global Teacher Prize. He shared his unbelievable experience with us, and here are some things that I learned from our discussion:
This is the tallest building in Dubai and it is called the Burj Khalifa.
I won twice but Mr. Solarz told us to only put one in. My partner was Hailie.

Léa AndreI am Léa Andre, a Gravity Expert from Paris, France. It would be very important to have a Gravity Expert on the first manned mission to Mars because I think that it is important to know Mars’ gravity. If we know what the gravity is like, we will know what kind of materials we will need to start the village. We will also know what to tell people, so that they can be prepared. It is also important to know because then we know how strong it is and to know if people can float off of the Red Planet. I am excited to go on this adventure because I would be one of the first people to fly to Mars and get to explore its wonders. I will also learn all of the cool stuff about Mars and learn if there once was any life and if there still is. I can come back and tell my family what happened and what it was like. I would be known as Léa Andre, the Gravity Expert that came from Paris, France. Categories |
